Activities Update

Dear Coordinators,

A brief update on some of the current activities.

The Police led Winter Watch patrols will again be operating in the evenings this year.  It is a great opportunity to volunteer to go on a foot patrol with the Police and learn more about Police work and crime prevention.  I will send out more information once the plans have been finalised.

The Volunteers Fair, Working Together for Woking, will take place on Thursday, 13th November 10am till 2pm in the Woking Leisure Center. We will have a stand there so come along and say hello to us and see the other voluntary organisations attending.

If you are looking to grow or invigorate your Watch, I am more than happy to assist. I also have a limited amount of crime and scam prevention information available.

There will be a Police update via Zoom on Wednesday 3rd December at 7-30pm. Our Borough Commander, Ed Lyons, will be pleased to take questions at that session. Joining information nearer the date.   

There is a vacancy on the Woking Committee for a Secretary. If you would like to learn more about this interesting voluntary role please contact me for further information.
